Redeeming Nook Miles for Style Packs

To access larger customization packs, head over to the Nook Stop terminal located inside Resident Services. Players can spend earned Nook Miles to purchase distinct style collections like the Top 8 Pop Hairstyles and Top 8 Cool Hairstyles.

Subsequent game updates introduced even more variety, including the Top 6 Stylish Hairstyles and Top 4 Fab Hairstyles packs. Investing your miles into these options unlocks trendy cuts, braided looks, and modern textures that permanently stay in your mirror menu.

Visiting Harriet on Harv's Island

Another major source of unique hairstyles comes from opening shops at the plaza on Harv's Island. Once you fund the plaza co-op, the friendly poodle Harriet sets up shop and offers free daily hair styling sessions.

Harriet teaches you seven exclusive hairstyles that cannot be obtained through the Nook Stop terminal. After she completes a new look, that specific style becomes permanently saved to your mirror customization choices.

Special Inactivity Hairstyles

Players can also unlock a secret haircut through unexpected gameplay habits like taking an extended break. If you do not log into the game for a full month, your character wakes up with messy bedhead.

Although your islander automatically fixes their hair after stepping outside, experiencing bedhead once unlocks it forever. You can then select this unkempt look anytime you want from your home mirror menu.
